Cremation Urn Stolen During Residential Break-In

JOHNSTON COUNTY – Two female burglary suspects are behind bars.

Teresa Ann Reeves, age 55, of Jada Allen Road, Dunn and Pamela Denise Maynor, age 57, of Dunn Road, Eastover, NC were arrested August 7.

According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, Reeves and Maynor allegedly broke into a residence on Jada Allen Road, in southern Johnston County, on August 2.

The victim said they left home around 2:30pm that day to run an errand and when they returned at 3:58pm they discovered the break-in.

During the break-in, numerous items were stolen, including a rifle, handgun, child’s toy phone, wedding rings, perfume, Playstation game console, and a cremation urn containing human ashes.

At last report the urn and other items had not been recovered.

The two women are also suspects in a second break-in reported August 6 on Jada Allen Road where cash, a video game console, and cellphone were stolen.

  1. This was my break in they stole my Husbands Mothers ashes and we really want her back she passed away in 2018 her Urn was inside a Purple Velvet Box

  2. They stole my husbands moms ashes she was in an Urn inside of a purple Velvet Box. She passed away in 2018 that was all we had left of her😭😭
