Fire crews were able to prevent a home from being damaged by flames Tuesday night.
A dumpster fire endangered a house on White Memorial Church Road in western Johnston County.
The 50-210, West Johnston, and Elevation Fire Departments quickly responded to the scene. They extinguished the burning dumpster before it could spread to the home.
