The concert dates are: May 20th, June 18th, July 21st, August 18th, and September 15th.   The council agreed to relocated food trucks and some vendors to Main Street, while allowing Main Street to be closed between O’Neil and Fayetteville Streets from 4:30pm to 10:30pm on the show dates.  A few trees and shrubs will be removed from Town Square before the series begins.

Clayton Planning Director David DeYoung said after this season the town may want to consider adding a permanent stage and bathroom facilities.

Councilman Bob Satterfield recommended organizers do a better job at selecting bands for the concerts this year. Satterfield said more people attended a beach band concert last year than other types of music.

DeYoung said they were currently in the process of selecting bands and will be spending nearly two times as much money to hire bands in 2016.  He also promised an improved sound system.  “It will be a hell of a show,” DeYoung promised.
