The Johnston County Board of Education has reappointed Mary Daughtry and appointed Antoan Whidbee to the Johnston Community College Board of Trustees. The school board appoints two positions to the JCC Board of Trustees.
The terms of Mrs. Daughtry and Haywood Watson were expiring. Daughtry and Watson had both reapplied. Also applying were Cynthia Giles, Stuart Lee and Mr. Whidbee.
The school board voted June 9th to select Mrs. Daughtry and Mr. Whidbee for the positions. The trustees will begin their terms on July 1, 2020.
