The Deacon Jones Automotive Group will hold a groundbreaking ceremony next Thursday, March 24th at 3:30 PM. This the first step in a massive expansion and continued investment in Eastern North Carolina. It is to be held at Corner of highway 70 East and Oak Forest Drive at McLean Street in Goldsboro
Three generations of the Jones family will be in attendance as the company, founded by Mr. Deacon Jones in the late 1970’s embarks on one of the largest expansions in their history.
The project, slated to be completed by January 2017, will provide state-of-the-art new homes for their Ford and Nissan operations, currently operating alongside the Kia franchise in Goldsboro.

The new showrooms will include high-end finishes like tiled showrooms and fine factory inspired furniture with the latest models being displayed in the three car Nissan showroom and 5 car Ford Lincoln showroom with both having dual, enclosed new car delivery bays, and expansive lounges with refreshment bars for customers and guests.
The dealership will also have advanced technology, including electric-vehicle charging stations that will enable a hybrid and electric vehicle recharge in as little as 30 minutes.
The climate controlled new car delivery bays, service lanes, parts department, and service shops, with many more bays, will accommodate a larger service load to provide expedited service for customers. The shops will be fully air-conditioned and feature the latest in manufacture’s analytic equipment, lifts and tools.
