An 18 year-old found suffering from a gunshot wound on the front porch of his home Sunday has died from his injuries.
Around 1:00am Sunday, Goldsboro Police responded to the scene on Hollowell Street. The victim, Desconte Makell Bryant, was rushed to Wayne Memorial Hospital with critical injuries. He was later transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Goldsboro Police announced Monday afternoon that Bryant succumbed to his injuries.
Police are treating his death as a homicide.
