Deputies Find Mobile Home On Fire After Responding To Domestic Call


FOUR OAKS – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious doublewide mobile home fire.

The blaze was reported at 2:03pm this afternoon (Monday) after deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at the address in the 100 block of Charlie Road, south of Four Oaks.


Deputies reported the fire to 911 when they arrived on the scene.

The Blackmon’s Crossroads, Strickland’s Crossroads and Four Oaks Fire Departments responded and extinguished the flames.


One person was transported to the hospital.

The Johnston County Fire Marshal and detectives from the sheriff’s office also responded to investigate the cause.  No additional details were immediately available.
