Deputies Need Help Identifying Gun Shop Burglar

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has released an image of a suspect wanted for questioning for a break-in at a gun shop last month.

Just before midnight on May 31st, surveillance cameras captured the suspect walk up to Harley’s Gun Shop at 1981 Old Cornwallis Road near Princeton.  The business is broken into and the suspect is see leaving a few minutes later. No property was reported stolen.

Deputies said the suspect is a white male who arrives wearing a gray toboggan, gray shirt, black pants and black shoes and holding a flashlight.  He was captured on video leaving without the shirt and holding his arm to conceal his face.

The break-in was reported by store employees the following morning.
