Deputies are asking for help solving a convenience store break-in.
On February 18th, someone broke into the Eastern Wayne Mart on New Hope Road outside of Goldsboro. Once inside they stole the entire cash register along with Newport cigarettes and $200 in cash.
The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras. He is described as a white male dressed in a dark color jacket, khaki pants and white shoes.
Anyone who may recognize the person or has information about the break-in is asked to contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office 919-731-1481 or Wayne County Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255. Detective Sgt. Anthony Mullis is the lead investigator in the case.
