The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance to help identify a suspect wanted for several car break-ins.
Numerous cars were broken into on the morning of Sunday, September 2nd in the Tuscany subdivision off Highway 42 East of Clayton.
Around 4:40am that morning a home security camera captured one of the suspects break into a car on Salerno Drive in Tuscany.
Deputies believe the suspect, a white male, was dropped off on Salerno Drive by the driver of a Honda Accord. The Honda drove out of sight while the suspect broke into this car. Electronics and other valuables were taken from the vehicles.
