A teenager escaped injury during a home invasion Thursday afternoon. Just before 1:00pm, two Hispanic males forced their way into a home in the 6600 block of Covered Bridge Road, just off Buffalo Road, according to Tammy Amaon, Public Information Officer with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspects removed several electronic items from the home before fleeing. Authorities said the teen did not know if the suspects left on foot or in a vehicle.
Deputies spent several hours Thursday afternoon canvassing the area looking for the suspects and any possible witnesses.
The teen, who was at home alone, was not injured. Anyone with information about the home invasion is asked to contact the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office at 919-989-5000.
