Buies Creek – Campbell long snapper Daniel Dillon has signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals.
Dillon, a Sanford, NC native, has been Campbell’s starting long snapper for the last four seasons, seeing action in 43 career games. He added seven tackles, forcing a fumble in 2013.
Dillon joins Campbell teammate Greg Milhouse, Jr., becoming the first Camels to sign with a NFL team. Milhouse signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. Campbell completed its eighth football season in 2015.
Dillon was Campbell’s starting long snapper for four seasons, helping the Camels rank as one of the top special teams units in FCS. He made seven career tackles and forced a fumble in 2013.
