The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance identifying a woman wanted for credit card fraud.
On June 18th, a victim lost their wallet containing debit and credit cards in the area of the Food Lion on Cleveland Road. A short time later, the victim was notified by his bank about suspicious activity on his credit card.
Authorities discovered an unidentified female had used the victim’s credit card to purchase a large amount of children’s clothing from Wal-Mart on Highway 42 then go to the Murphy Express convenience store nearby and buy two cartons of cigarettes.
The woman was spotted driving a burgundy Chrysler Town and Country minivan.
