Dr. Reginal D. Harris will be Campbell’s commencement speaker for the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences’ 2021 spring graduation ceremony.
Combining his role as a pharmacist and lawyer gives him unique insight that strengthens his work as a clinical or adjunct faculty member having served at nine institutes of higher education. Harris is also an author of books, e-books, training programs, legal articles and an Amicus brief that was accepted by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2017. He served in the Biomedical Service Corps of the Air Force from 1997 to 2008 achieving the rank of First Lieutenant before returning to civilian life.
“We are privileged to have Dr. Harris join us from the San Antonio, Texas area for the commencement ceremony,” said CPHS Dean Michael L. Adams (’96 PharmD, PhD). “He is well respected in the pharmacy and legal communities and will bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to share with our graduates and guests. We look forward to welcoming him to campus.”
Having received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2008 from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy, Harris is a registered pharmacist with certifications in medication therapy management, immunization, sterile and nonsterile products, and ambulatory pharmaceutical care. In 2018, he earned a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
With an entrepreneur spirit, Harris founded InfoSource Communications in 1999, which was reorganized into a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and S Corporation in 2005. The company provides exceptional professional services tailored to individuals, for-profit, non-profit, educational, and governmental clients. Its areas of expertise include providing legal consultation, representation, and training in various areas of the law, corporate management, and leadership development. He started an educational scholarship fund in 2000, which has awarded nearly $70,000 to young American men of African, Hispanic, and Latino descent.
Harris is also very involved in his community and founded Helping Warriors Succeed, Inc. (HWS), a non-profit established in 2012 to enhance the quality of life for veterans and their dependents. HWS collaborates with other non-profits to help alleviate the suffering of indigent and homeless veterans and to provide free business, financial, personal and professional development training, and legal representation. He volunteers as pro bono advocate with San Antonio Legal Services Association, Inc. where he provides legal consultation to those seeking services in the Veterans Advice Clinic or in the Tenant’s Rights Program.

The College will be celebrating the graduation of the 32nd class of pharmacists earning the Doctor of Pharmacy degree along with degrees to be conferred in general science, clinical research, nursing, pharmaceutical sciences, public health, and physician assistant practice.
The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences’ graduation exercises will be held at 3 p.m. in the Barker-Lane Stadium in Buies Creek on May 7. A ticket is required for entrance to the stadium.
