Driver Arrested After Early Morning Chase, JCSO Says

FOUR OAKS – A 19 year-old man was arrested following an early morning chase. The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said it started at approximately 1:01am Friday on US 301 in Four Oaks.

A deputy sheriff attempted to stop a 1988 Dodge pickup but the driver reportedly refused to pull over.

Officers pursued the pickup along US 301, onto Parkertown Road, NC 96 South and US 701. The driver turned down a dirt path off US 701 near Four Oaks and was arrested.

Evan Lee Justice of the 1100 block of US 701 South, Four Oaks was charged with fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, speeding 86 mph in a 55 mph zone, reckless driving, failure to stop at a red light, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Justice was held under a $30,000 bond.

The Dodge was seized under the NC Run and Done law.

When are people going to learn, don’t run from LEO’s. 99.9% of the time you are not going to get away and you just add to the charges as well as you take the chance of killing someone innocent or a LEO. Evan, you are a royal shmuck! If you want to kill yourself then do it but don’t drag innocent people into your stupidity!
