Driver Charged In Crash
The NC Highway Patrol has charged a Selma man with reckless driving following a single vehicle accident on Buffalo Road at Old Beulah Road near the Selma Oil Terminals.
Troopers said the wreck happened at 6:52am Sunday.
Noah Ethan Durham was traveling southbound on Buffalo Road in his 2017 Ford when he ran off the roadway on the right and struck a small ditch, NC DOT road sign, and a driveway statue. Durham was not injured in the accident.
Trooper J.L. Taylor cited Durham for careless and reckless driving. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $4,500.
Selma Police responded to the scene to assist with traffic control.
