WENDELL – Corinth-Holders Fire and Johnston County EMS responded to an early Sunday morning crash at the intersection of Barnes Road and NC Highway 231.
A driver reportedly lost control at the northern Johnston County intersection, causing his car to tumble off the road, leaving the vehicle heavily damaged and ejecting the driver.
The victim was located in a corn field and rushed to Wake Med with unknown injuries.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol investigated the 3:05am mishap.
