FOUR OAKS – One person was injured Wednesday evening after a small pickup ran off the roadway and overturned striking a tree. The truck then landed on its wheels.
The single vehicle accident occurred just before 8:00pm on Highway 96 South near Green Pasture Road.
Fortunately, the driver escaped with only minor injuries. He was transported to the hospital by Johnston County EMS.
The State Highway Patrol, Blackman’s Crossroads Fire Department and Four Oaks Fire Department responded.
