JOHNSTON COUNTY – A driver headed south on NC Highway 39 near Emit Wednesday evening lost control of his pickup truck and overturned in the roadway.
Antioch Fire Department firefighters extricated the injured man and Johnston County EMS rushed the victim to Wake Med with unspecified injuries.
A witness claimed the truck was being driven erratically just prior to crashing.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol investigated the 8:30pm accident. Charges are pending.
