One person was seriously hurt when a car and tractor trailer collided Friday afternoon.
The driver of a blue Chevy Impala was injured when the vehicle slammed into the rear of a stopped tractor trailer on US 70 East at Wilson’s Mills Road.
The Wilson’s Mills Fire Department had to use extrication equipment to cut the driver from the vehicle before he was rushed by ambulance to Wake Medical Center. No one else was in the vehicle. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
