Police in Goldsboro are investigating a deadly shooting early Tuesday.
Officer responded to a report of shots being fired in the 300 block of West Spruce Street. When they arrived in the area they found a car had crashed into a parked vehicle about a block away.
The driver of the vehicle was found unresponsive inside the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel.
Police said the victim, 32 year-old Abdullah Ali Whitaker from Goldsboro died from an apparent gunshot wound.
