One person was injured following a single vehicle accident Saturday night north of Selma. The accident was reported on Byrd Road just off Buffalo Road in the Thanksgiving community.
A passenger car ran off the roadway in a slight curve slamming into a group of trees. The driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The NC Highway Patrol is investigating.
Johnston County EMS and the Thanksgiving Fire Department responded to the accident scene.
