Driver Suffers Serious Injuries In Crash

FOUR OAKS – One person was injured in a single vehicle accident Friday night on US 301 at Raleigh Road.

The State Highway Patrol said a Kia passenger car was traveling on Raleigh Road when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign at US 301. The vehicle traveled across US 301 and into the front yard of a home where it slammed into a tree.

The driver, the only occupant in the car, was rushed to Wake Med with serious injuries. No further information has been released.
