Marijuana and Xanax pills were reportedly found inside a car stopped for speeding just before midnight Tuesday on Buckhorn Drive in northeastern Johnston County.
Deputies said they stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation and reportedly found the items during a search.
Jeffrey Keith Wiggins Jr., 21, of Majestic Lane, Clayton was charged with felony maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $20,000.
