Drugs, Gun, Money Seized During Smithfield Drug Bust

Three people are facing charges following a drug search warrant in Smithfield that led to the seizure of a large amount of cash, cocaine and marijuana.

Details about the Friday drug bust were just released Tuesday.

Brockington-Toler-Mugshots-FIPolice raided a home at 807 West Street in East Smithfield and seized approximately $4,500 in cash, 27 grams of crack cocaine,  14 grams of cocaine, and 8 grams of marijuana. Agents also confiscated several cell phones, a 9mm handgun and ammunition.

Alonzo Ray Brockington Jr., 18, and Devonda Shanise Toler, 37, both of 807 West Street, were charged with trafficking a controlled substance, conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance, and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance. Brockington was jailed under a $150,000 bond. Toler was held under a $100,000 bond.

A third person at the scene, Dominique McDaniel, whose address was not released, was cited for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
