Johnston County deputies said they seized methamphetamines, marijuana and drug paraphernalia from a vehicle near Benson Wednesday afternoon. Officers had gone to a location on Surles Road around 12:15pm.
While on the scene for an unrelated call, patrol officers said they detected an odor of marijuana coming from a car and in plain sight allegedly saw marijuana.
Aaron Christopher Eddy, 22, of Clinton was arrested after a search of the car allegedly yielded marijuana, meth, and drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested on one felony and two misdemeanor charges. Eddy was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $10,000 bond.
