Drugs Stolen From Two Johnston County EMS Stations

50-210-EMS-2-FIHow did medication stolen from two Johnston County EMS facilities end up in a car involved in a wreck in Clayton?  That’s what local authorities are now investigating.

WTSB News has confirmed the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of medication from the 50-210 EMS Station. The medication, not available to the public, is commonly used by paramedics to treat patients prior to their arrival at the hospital.

Similar medication was also reported stolen from the Selma EMS Station, according to Selma Police.

Clayton Police located the medications allegedly stolen from 50-210 EMS and Selma EMS in a vehicle involved in a traffic accident on Shotwell Road.  Among the medications stolen were Ketorolac Tromethamine and Albuterol. 

No additional details were released due to the ongoing investigation by Selma Police and Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
