DWI Charges Filed In Head On Collision

SELMA – Surprisingly, no one was transported to the hospital after two vehicles collided head on Friday afternoon.  The collision occurred on Shoeheel Road near Bluegrass Road, just off Highway 39 North.  

The driver of the pickup was arrested at the scene on DWI charges and transported to the Johnston County Jail. 

A passenger in the pickup and the driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries. 

Everyone was checked out at the scene by Johnston County EMS but no one was transported to the hospital. 

The Bethany Fire Department, Johnston County EMS and State Highway Patrol responded.

The names of those involved was not released pending completion of an accident report.
