A teenager was arrested for driving while impaired after deputies were called to a disturbance at a Clayton-area home early-Sunday.
Around 3:10am, deputies responded to a report of a domestic altercation between the suspect and his girlfriend at a home on Hadley Lane. The suspect, 19 year-old Trevor Loughlin Cole of Sanford had left the home prior to the arrival of officers.
While at the scene, Cole reportedly drove by on his truck and was subsequently stopped by a deputy.
Cole allegedly admitted to drinking 8 or 9 beers and watching football prior to leaving the home. Cole reportedly registered 0.15 on the Breathalyzer, nearly double the legal limit of 0.08.
He was charged with driving while impaired and driving after consuming while under 21. His vehicle was towed from the scene. Cole was later released on a $1,500 bond.
