Eagle Scout Jeremy Creech Recognized

On Sunday, October 28th, an Eagle Scout Ceremony was held at Bethel Original Free Will Baptist Church near Four Oaks for Eagle Scout Jeremy Lee Creech from Boy Scout Troop 66 of Polenta.

Jeremy is a recent graduate of South Johnston High School where he also served as a member of the JROTC. Jeremy plans to attend Johnston Community College and he also aspires to enlist in the United States Marine Corps.

In the meantime, Jeremy is working full-time and volunteering in his free time and giving back to Scouting as an adult leader while serving as a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster.

For his Eagle Scout project, Jeremy created a beautiful outdoor Sunday school prayer garden at his church for all members to have a place for reflection and devotion.

During his Eagle Scout Ceremony Jeremy was presented the Eagle Scout Good Citizenship Award from Eagle Scout Coordinator Lewis W. Rice III on behalf of the Johnston County Marine Corps League Carry-On Detachment 1236.

Jeremy is the son of Reverend Tod and Angela Creech of Four Oaks.
