Eagle Scout David Asher Bizzell from Boy Scout Troop #124 of Clayton was presented an “Eagle Scout Good Citizenship Award” during a ceremony Sunday at Horne Memorial United Methodist Church.
Bizzell received the award from Commandant Timothy Daniel on behalf of the Johnston County Marine Corps League Carry-On Detachment #1236.
David is the son of Greg and Gwen Bizzell of Selma. He recently earned his Eagle Scout award.
Troop 124 is sponsored by Horne Memorial United Methodist Church.
David is also a member of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s honor society.
David began his scouting career in 2007 as a Tiger Cub in Pack 124 where he completed his Religious Emblem Award and his Arrow of Light award.
David is in the 10th grade at Corinth Holders High School where he is a member of the FFA.
