The Johnston County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating an early morning house fire that destroyed a two story home.
Flames were shooting from the home when fire crews arrived on the scene just before 5:00am today (Monday) in the 1800 block of Vinson Road between Clayton and Wilson’s Mills.
Firefighters said no one was at the residence when the fire broke out. The cause has not been determined.
