The Johnston County Education Foundation (JCEF) will be holding its first Open House on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
The foundation has a long history of providing privately funded scholarships and awards that benefit Johnston County Public Schools staff members.
Attendees to the open house will have the opportunity to learn about new programs and meet with former grant winners, that will be showcasing a few hands on projects.
The event is floating from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and will be held at Johnston County Public Schools Facility Services, 601-A W. Market St. in Smithfield. Light refreshments will be provided.
