Three people are wanted following a home invasion near Four Oaks.
The incident occurred around 2:40pm Sunday on Go Cart Road, between Highway 96 South and US 701 South.
A 79 year-old woman answered a knock on the door. She told deputies a man asked to use the telephone. But before the victim could reply, the suspect forced open the door and all three male suspects entered the home.
The elderly woman and her 84 year-old husband were robbed of various items, according to Johnston County Sheriff’s Detective Lt. M.J. Carson. Investigators said Thursday they are not releasing any additional details about the incident, but confirmed the victims were not physically harmed.
Lt. Carson said the home invasion was not related to a home invasion that occurred Saturday on Crantock Road near Smithfield. One arrest has been made in that case.
