Elementary Students Put Spelling Skills To The Test

Students from 27 different elementary schools competed in the 2019 Johnston County Elementary Spelling Bee on Jan. 24 at Selma Elementary School.

Elementary school students from each of the Johnston County Public Schools elementary schools, as well as fifth grade students from Selma Middle and Benson Middle participated in the Spelling Bee. Students from Southside Christian School and Neuse Charter School also participated.
