Elvis Has Left The Building But Police Want Him Back

Smithfield Police are searching for thieves who made away with an extensive collection of vinyl records from a home last month.

Between April 16th and April 26th someone broke into a building behind a home on Vermont Street and stole 200 collectible vinyl records worth at least $4,000. The collection included numerous Elvis records.

Police don’t have any suspects in the case but are asking the public to be on the lookout for anyone attempting to sell a large vinyl record collection that includes numerous Elvis Presley records.

Anyone with information about the vinyl record thefts can call Smithfield Police at 919-934-2121 or the Smithfield Police Tip Line at 919-989-8835.   Thank you. Thank you very much.
