FOUR OAKS – An arrest has been made following the alleged embezzlement of approximately $18,500 from two Four Oaks area businesses.
On September 5th, Wade Braswell reported a former employee had reportedly stole money 
from two of his businesses, Braswell Custom Construction and Rayne Properties of Four Oaks.
An investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office reportedly revealed Sarah Violet Fairweather, 38, of Piney Grove Road, Angier stole approximately $16,000 from the construction company plus an additional $2,500 from the second business. The alleged thefts occurred this year.
Fairweather was arrested September 10th and charged with two counts of embezzlement. She was released on a $5,000 secured bond pending her next court appearance.
