A former employee at a Johnston County business is accused of stealing approximately $90,334 in equipment from the company. The theft was reported in February from Eldridge Concrete located on Harper House Road in the Bentonville community.
On Wednesday deputies charged the former employee, 40 year-old Jason Craig Jones of Athens, Georgia, formerly of Sneads Ferry, NC with felony larceny by an employee.
About $2,000 of the stolen property has been recovered.
Jones was jailed under a $25,000 bond.
