WAYNE COUNTY – A Johnston County man has been charged with a felony after an incident involving a sign. Timothy Braxton Dean, 53, of the 5000 block of Princeton Kenly Road, Kenly is charged with disseminating obscenities.
On April 20 around 10:30am, Wayne County deputies responded to a report of a man, later identified as Dean, attempting to slow traffic while driving and holding a sign. The sign allegedly displayed “an explicitly detailed sexual in nature advertisement to motorists” authorities said.
A warrant for arrest was obtained by Wayne County deputies. Dean was later served with the warrant by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
Kinda petty
A felony?! Wow… I remember a saying that may resonate with all walks of life. Sticks and stones may break my bones but words (images) shall never hurt me.
Yes! And if you don’t like it, don’t look at it. It’s really simple concepts.
It only takes one minor child to see it to make things much mo’serious….
Perv! Good job, Wayne County S.O.
It was probably an excerpt from a book in a jcps elementary school library
LOL…probably so!
No telling what the sign said..Would you want your kids reading it?
