FOUR OAKS – A Maryland family of four was fortunate to suffer only minor injuries in a Sunday afternoon crash on Interstate 95 near Four Oaks.
According to the NC State Highway Patrol, the northbound driver drifted into the center median then overcorrected, skidding off the right side of the highway then tumbling across Brewer Road and down an embankment. All occupants, including an infant child with a head injury, were transported to Wake Med in Raleigh.
