Family Of 4 Injured When Minivan Overturns

A family of four returning home from a day at the beach was injured when their minivan overturned.   The wreck was reported at 8:25pm Thursday on Buffalo Road outside of Clayton.

All four occupants were trapped inside the vehicle. After being removed from the wreckage they were transported to area hospitals.  Three people received minor injuries while the fourth occupant received more serious injuries.

The NC Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the single vehicle accident.   Photos by John Payne
