Fire crews from Wake, Johnston and Franklin counties responded to a fire Saturday night at the historic Bennet Bunn Plantation on Old Bunn Road outside of Zebulon.
One firefighter received minor injuries when a floor collapsed causing him to fall. He was taken to WakeMed for treatment.
The fire was contained to a residential outbuilding on the plantation and did not involve the main residence. The Bennet Bunn Plantation is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The cause of the 10:00pm fire remains under investigation.
