A fire at a Cleveland apartment Thursday was quickly contained.
Firefighters from the Cleveland, Clayton and 50-210 Fire Departments extinguished an apartment fire on Whitehall Court off of Cambridge Elm Drive just after 12 noon today.
A Johnston County Emergency Services fire investigator responded and is working to determine the cause.
No one was in the apartment at the time the fire was discovered by a neighbor and reported to 911.  An EMS crews stood by at the scene as a safety precaution. There were no injuries.
