WILSON’S MILLS – An afternoon fire damaged a home in the Ives Landing subdivision off Southerland Road. The fire was reported just before 2:00pm Thursday on Woodglen Drive.
Fire crews from Wilson’s Mills, Clayton, Selma and Smithfield contained the blaze.
The Johnston County Fire Marshal’s Office is on the scene investigating the cause. Wilson’s Mills Police have also responded.
Two dogs perished in the fire.
