A vacant home was heavily damaged by flames Tuesday morning. A 911 call was received around 11:00am reporting the fire in the 800 block of Camelia Road, off Highway 301 between Four Oaks and Benson.
Four Oaks fire crews were assisted by the Benson and Elevation Fire Departments in extenguishing the blaze. The home was vacant but did have electricity connected to the property.
Authorities said the cause of the fire had not been determined. Fire officials at the scene said arson had not been ruled out as a possible cause.
No injuries were reported.
