Fire Damages Vacant Home

A vacant home was gutted by flames early-Sunday.

The blaze broke out around 2:00 AM on Highway 42 in eastern Johnston County.

The Antioch, Bethany, and Thanksgiving Fire Departments arrived on the scene to find heavy fire coming from the single-story home.  The fire was quickly extinguished.

No injuries were reported.

The Johnston County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.  Photos by JoCoFire.com
