A Clayton home was completely destroyed by flames Friday afternoon. Fire crews responded to the 4:30 PM alarm on Nancy Court to find the two-story home completely engulfed.
Archer Lodge, Clayton and Cleveland Fire Departments were eventually able to bring the blaze under control. One of the family members was treated at the scene by paramedics but did not require transport to the hospital. The Red Cross was called in to assist the fire victims.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Clayton Fire Marshal and Clayton Police Department. Photos by JoCoFire.com
