Fire Destroys Mobile Home

JOHNSTON COUNTY – Flames gutted a vacant mobile home. The fire occurred on July 23 in the 12200 block of NC Highway 96 South, Dunn, in southern Johnston County.

Meadow, Blackman’s Crossroads, Plain View, Newton Grove Fire Departments, and Dunn Emergency Services responded to the working mobile home fire.

No injuries were reported.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and Johnston County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to investigate the cause. The fire was reportedly suspicious.
