Several fire departments responded to a fire around 3:30am today (Friday) near the Johnston-Nash County line.
Crews arrived on the scene to find two adjacent mobile homes and a travel trailer burning at 189 Buckhorn Drive off the 13400 block of Buck Road.
The Corinth Holders, Antioch and Zebulon Fire Departments responded to the scene. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes.
No injuries were reported however two people were displaced by the fire. They declined assistance from the Red Cross.
Johnston County Fire Marshal Adam Stanley said the fire started in the rear addition of one home then quickly spread. The exact cause could not be determined because of the extensive damage. The cause of the fire was ruled undetermined.
