A western Johnston County home was heavily damaged by fire Monday afternoon.
A neighbor reported the fire at a home on Bay Ridge Drive off White Memorial Church Road which runs off Highway 210 near Angier.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy flames coming from the home. The blaze was quickly extinguished. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
